Busy, Busy, Busy Pt. 2

Kristin and I are still really busy cleaning and organizing, but we've finally cleaned enough that we can start doing some more organizing and unpacking. All of the frog and fish tanks are finally in place in our front room, though nothing else is fully setup in there. The stereo and speakers are in place with no wires connected — this will probably be one of the last projects since I'm planning on using speaker wire wall plates to get the wires from one side of the room to the other.

The living room is in similar condition. The couch, recliner, DVD racks, CD rack, and entertainment center are in place (the stereo isn't fully setup for the same reason as the front room). We also need to assemble the table and put it in place (if I remember, I'll do that right after I finish posting this).

The kitchen and dining room are finally starting to come together. We've been kind of using them as a storage area since they're centrally located, but this weekend we moved a lot of stuff out of there. Once the rest of the stuff is out of the kitchen, we'll be able to mount things like our spice rack and paper towel holder.

Our bedroom is mostly done and has been for a while. I still have a lot of clothes I haven't unpacked, but that's about it. Our office is mostly setup, but there's a lot of stuff scattered around. We just need to make some final decisions about where things are going so we can put everything away.

The guest room and storage room will be the last things to get done and are currently being used for storing the things we haven't unpacked yet. Besides that, we've been doing a lot of yard work too — ripping out bushes, digging bricks and concrete out of our backyard, cutting down tree branches, killing poison, etc.

Since things were so hectic when we bought the house and we didn't get a chance to take pictures before we started cleaning, I'm just going to wait until we've got all the major work done before posting anything. So expect some pictures in a month or two...or three or four.
